Conference Themes
The organising committee is now accepting abstracts across a broad range of housing and related disciplines including housing affordability, supply, demand, tenure, health, construction, planning & design, economics, finance, social and public housing and indigenous issues.
Abstracts Submission Guidelines
Abstracts must adhere to the following guidelines and must follow the template (which is provided online in the submission system for you to fill in):
Include a title of no more than 20 words an subtitle (optional) of no more than 15 words
Use minimal capitalisation of words and title and subtitle
NOT TO BE MORE THAN 250 WORDS
Use Arial 11pt for abstract text.
The system will prompt you to:
Include the titles, names of and institutions of all authors
Indicate the author(s) presenting the paper at the conference
Enter some brief biographical details
Indicate the concurrent session theme with which the paper best fits
Indicate whether you are a PhD Student
Awards
Two national prizes for housing research excellence will be awarded at the Australiasian Housing Researchers Conference:
The Professor Mike Berry Award for Excellence in Housing Research. Known as The Berry, the Professor Mike Berry Award for Excellence in Housing Research is an annual award for the best piece of new housing and urban research. This Award, sponsored by Housing Choices Australia and AHURI, includes a $1,000 cash prize.
The Federal Minister's Award for Early Career Housing Researcher recognises excellence in those beginning careers in housing and urban research. The award is sponsored by AHURI and awarded at the annual Australasian Housing Researchers Conference.
